Come and learn about solving the everyday problems that we have in our day-to-day restorative dentistry from Dr Gil Watson, a highly experienced Prosthodontist.   From new graduates to experienced practitioners there will be tips and tricks that we can apply from Monday morning. 

Topics will include:  

Class 2 composites:

• Ensure broad contacts.
• How to deal with wide proximal boxes.
• Creating good contacts with back-to-back fillings. 
• Dealing with subgingival and or uneven margins.

Anterior class 3: 

• ensuring correct curvature and smooth contacts.

Indirect materials:

• How to decide which material to use? 
• How to decide on whether cementing or bonding is appropriate.
• When to Crown and when to Onlay? 

Preparations: 

• Where to put the margin? To include the non-carious cervical lesion or manage this separately? 
• Managing subgingival margins.
• Occlusal reduction technique/measuring.
• Finishing preparation technique.
