Digital dental documentation is a very important part of the dental profession. Progress monitoring, marketing, case presentation, communication and patient education can be easily done by photo and video documentation. This lecture provides basic knowledge about the photographic process and some terminology, the rules for shooting along with some art techniques. It will help the participants to make the right selection of camera and settings for different situations. During the lecture some clinical tricks for better photography will be explained. Participants will learn also how to classify and edit the photos and videos with specialized software.
